Accudot Markers : tips on handling the markers, applying and removing
What You'll Need
- Your AccuDot™ marker pack
- A clean, dry club face
- Around 10-15 seconds per marker
Step-by-Step Application
- Clean the club face - wipe the impact area with a dry cloth. Any moisture or dirt reduces adhesion. Make sure the club-face is completely dry before applying the marker dots.
- Peel the marker - a peelable tab that lets you remove and place the marker on the club-face without damaging the reflective or adhesive surfaces.Peel the tab gently and cleanly from the backing sheet.
- Position and press. Place the marker on the club face in the pattern as per your monitor's guidelines.
- Test the bond - ensure the marker is adhered to the club-face and in the correct placing.
- You can now practice with proof.- your Foresight or Bushnell launch monitor will detect the marker on your next shot.
Durability & Removal
Most golfers get 3–5 full sessions from a single marker depending on swing speed and shot frequency. When reflectivity visibly diminishes, replace the marker. To remove: peel from a corner — no residue is left on the club face.
Tips by Club Type
- Irons & wedges: One marker at centre-face, aligned with the grooves. AccuDot™ markers are thin enough not to affect ball contact or feel.
- Driver: Use 4 markers across the face for the clearest read on impact position.
- Fairway woods & hybrids: One centre-face marker is typically sufficient.
