Getting More Data From Your Launch Monitor

AccuDot™ markers are engineered for camera-based launch monitors. Here's how to maximise the quality of data you collect every session.

Why reflective markers matter

Foresight and Bushnell launch monitors use high-speed cameras to track club face movement at impact. The cameras detect the reflective markers to measure face angle, dynamic loft, lie angle, and impact position with precision. Without a clear reflective target, the monitor may miss shots or return incomplete data.

Reducing Missed Shots

  • Replace markers that have accumulated ball scuff marks — once opaque from impact wear, reflectivity drops significantly
  • Keep the launch monitor camera window clean before each session
  • Position your ball consistently relative to the marker each shot
  • In indoor bays, check that overhead lighting does not create glare on the club face

For Coaches & Fitters

Club fitters and coaches should carry AccuDot™ markers as standard kit. Fresh markers at the start of each fitting ensure your monitor captures accurate face data throughout — critical for measuring face-to-path ratios, dynamic loft, and attack angle.
